Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Chatsy at mychatsy.com. By creating a workspace or using the product, you agree to them.

The service

Chatsy lets you publish a knowledge base, embed a chat widget on websites you control, review conversations, book meetings, and send visitor actions to your own tools.

We may update features, limits, and these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. We will post the update date on this page.

Your account

You must provide a valid email, keep your password secret, and enroll two-factor authentication. You are responsible for activity in your workspace.

You must be able to form a contract. If you use Chatsy for an organization, you confirm you can bind that organization.

Your content and visitor data

You own the knowledge, files, themes, and other content you upload. You grant us a license to host, process, and display that content only to provide the service.

When you embed the widget, you are the controller of visitor conversations and intake answers. You must have a lawful basis to collect them, including any notice or consent your site needs.

Do not upload unlawful content, secrets you are not allowed to share, or material that infringes someone else’s rights.

Plans, tokens, and payment

New workspaces receive a one-time trial token allowance. Paid plans include monthly tokens, then optional on-demand usage billed through Stripe.

Fees are billed in advance for the subscription and in arrears for on-demand usage, subject to the cap you set. Taxes may apply. We do not guarantee a specific conversation count; token use depends on chat length and published knowledge size.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Chatsy: no attacking the service, scraping beyond normal use, sending spam or malware through the widget, or using the product to deceive visitors about who they are talking to.

We may suspend a workspace that creates risk for visitors, other customers, or the platform.

Availability and liability

We aim for a reliable service but do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. The product is provided as is.

To the extent allowed by law, Chatsy is not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages, and our total liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.

Ending the service

You may stop using Chatsy at any time. We may close an account for breach or if we discontinue the product, with notice when we reasonably can.

After closure, we delete or anonymize workspace data on a normal backup cycle, except records we must keep for law, billing, or security.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Chatsy collects, why we collect it, and the rights you have. It covers the marketing site, your workspace, and the widget you embed.

Who is responsible

Chatsy operates mychatsy.com. For your account, billing, and how we run the platform, we decide the purposes of processing.

For visitor chats and intake forms on a site that embeds your widget, you (the workspace) are the controller. Chatsy processes that data on your instructions to deliver the chat.

Account and billing data

When you sign up we store your email, authentication credentials, two-factor settings, profile name and photo if you add them, workspace name, plan, usage, and audit events.

If you sign in with Google, we receive the verified email, name, and profile photo from that Google account and store them on your Chatsy profile. Sign-in does not grant access to Calendar or Drive.

Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive subscription and invoice status, not your full card number.

Knowledge, conversations, and integrations

We store knowledge drafts, uploaded files, published snapshots, conversation transcripts, unknown questions, calendar settings, and skill configurations so the product can work.

If you connect Google Calendar, we read free/busy times and create the events you confirm. Those events can include the visitor's name and email. We do not read the titles or details of your other events.

If you connect Google Drive, you pick the Docs, Sheets, Slides, and files the bot may use. We store the text from those files as knowledge. We do not change the files in Google Drive. Google refresh tokens are stored encrypted. Extracted text, chunks, and embeddings stay until you delete the file. Disconnecting Drive revokes Google access. Linked files stay in Chatsy until you remove them.

If you connect Shopify, we read published products, prices, and active discounts so the bot can answer visitors. We do not change the store. If you connect HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Monday CRM, Freshsales, ActiveCampaign, or a lead webhook, we send the Lead Gen fields you collected to that destination, including the host page URL as a UTM. If you configure a webhook skill, we send the fields you listed to the URL you provide.

Visitor data

A visitor may share name, email, phone, and other fields you configure, plus the messages they send. We also store technical data needed for the session, such as the page URL and a conversation id.

You decide what to ask for and how long to keep it in your workspace. Tell visitors on your site how you use their data.

Processors and transfers

We use infrastructure providers to run Chatsy: hosting and bot protection on Vercel, database and authentication on Supabase, email on Resend, and payments on Stripe. Google, Shopify, HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho, Microsoft, Monday, Freshworks, or ActiveCampaign are used only if you connect them.

Published knowledge, including text from Google Drive files you picked, is embedded with OpenAI and sent in relevant excerpts to the model you select (OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google) through the Vercel AI Gateway so the bot can answer. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train general-purpose models.

Those providers may process data in the United States or other countries. We use them only to operate the service.

Your rights

You can access or correct your profile name, photo, and company from the dashboard. To export or delete a workspace, contact us from the email on the account. Disconnecting Google Calendar or Google Drive revokes that Google access. Deleting a knowledge file removes the copy stored in Chatsy.

Visitors should send access or deletion requests to the website that embedded the widget. We will help that workspace respond.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or a similar jurisdiction, you may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Cookie Policy

Chatsy uses a small set of cookies and similar storage so the site, dashboard, and widget can function. We do not use advertising cookies.

What we store

Necessary cookies keep you signed in (Supabase session), remember your language, and save dashboard layout such as the sidebar. The marketing site also remembers this cookie choice.

If you visit a partner referral link, we store a first-touch partner code (chatsy_via) for 60 days so we can attribute a later signup. This is not an advertising cookie.

The widget may store a conversation id and intake answers in the browser so a visitor can return to the same thread for a limited time.

We use Vercel BotID to tell automated traffic from people. That protection is required to keep the product safe.

Your choice

These cookies are required to operate Chatsy. If you block them in your browser, sign-in, language, or the widget session may not work.

Accepting the banner records that we told you about this use. You can read this policy again at any time from the footer.
